BOUW has provided Safety in Design (SiD) advice and process support to Manteena in relation to the remediation of an existing rubber trap for an undisclosed government client in South Australia. BOUW used a risk assessment approach to identify and rate risks to constructors, users and maintainers associated the replacement material and prepared a full SiD report after reviewing proposed product information and establishing usage criteria.
With travel restrictions in place during the project, the process of user engagement and workshops were successfully completed entirely remotely using web based collaboration tools
